One week remains in the month of September, and I’ve got a ways to go before I can call the next chapter of Wakeup Call complete. This month has been a test to see if I can churn out a comic instead of the usual two months. Based on what I’ve seen, it’s definitely possible, but it drastically cuts down on the time I have to write the story and plan things out. I will say that changing the medium from vector to lineart does seem like it would speed up my process, since coloring isn’t as big of a factor. If I can find the means to make digital art with a tablet, it could be worth experimenting with a different system to improve efficiency. Something to consider for future months.

There’s an open invitation Monster Train tournament starting tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to participating. I don’t think I have the competitive skill to rank since I’ll likely be competing with players with three times as much playtime, but it should be fun to see what the challenges are and how close or far off I am from the top. Surely I’ll do better than my Cosmic tournament performance, right?

I’ve been gathering up some data for another project I’m working on. Hopefully less intensive than my usual fare, but I want to get some more engagement going on my Twitter page, at least in terms of me putting content on there. I’m going to apply my knowledge of classic SpongeBob and post a bunch of observations I’ve made about it over the years. All I need are 31 unique observations and I’ll be good. It’ll work as my 4th Titan for October since I didn’t have one yet.

The hype from WarioWare has settled down, as one might expect. I’m still playing it semi-regularly for the weekly challenge, and I’m somewhat interested in 100% completion. It’s probably got the most content out of any WarioWare game I’ve played. I’ve got to give it up to the designers for doing such a good job with the concept. The game is an inspiration, definitely one to add to my list of memorable games.

In other news, my simulator work is back in full swing after getting inspired again by Fire Emblem. I’m testing out a new system to see if it has legs. There’s still a lot of potential in this idea, and much of it needs to be streamlined. I’ll have to see if this new idea breaks me out of the maze. In the meantime, make the most!
