Howdy howdy and salutations to everyone reading. It’s been another productive week, and I’m ready to continue production today. Have you ever wanted to find your way past a brick wall with no idea how to progress? You try to climb, but there are no footholds. You try to walk around, but it loops. You try to go under, but the floor is made of concrete. Sometimes it seems as though when you put in enough effort and stop focusing on getting past the wall, eventually the wall itself becomes something that resembles paper. That’s somewhat how I feel this week as I’ve made another step forward in my ability to draw human heads. Now I just need to get past the wall regarding hands, arms, torsos, LEGS, and feet. Also, I need to keep getting better with heads, especially in profile.

This week was my attempt at going a full seven days without any added sugar. Essentially a week without any processed foods at all. It was going fairly well until I got some kind of stomach bug on Friday, and I basically didn’t eat anything on Saturday. Even so, the goal was to avoid any blood sugar spikes, and even limping to the finish line is going to bring out the checkered flag. I’m going to be more conscious about sugar spikes going forward to see if I can avoid them without cutting sugar out completely.

In other news, my Cosmic section is up to 41 aliens. In terms of completing the base FFG set, that leaves only ten more. I believe I will handle those next month so that I can simultaneously finalize my design terminology and also focus more on my larger projects like Wakeup Call and the two other ones. A lot of these projects are still up in the air, but I’m passionate to work on all three. I want to serve some tasty drinks here at the Blutooth Bar, so I have to make sure I’m working on multiple recipes at a time.

In any case, I’m going to get back to work. Going to do some sketching this weekend, work on some character design, and play a bit more Monster Train. I got some advice recently to pull from multiple styles of artists I like, so I’m going to be seeing how far ahead of me they are. Make the most. I certainly hope to.
